Why we are not MLM

Jeff does a great training on why we are not Multi Level Marketing (MLM) bringing some new insights and information into this discussion. He makes the point that this conversation needs to happen sooner than later with everyone that we partner up with to build a business. We need to educate and prepare our new people to effectively have this Melaleuca verses MLM discussion. They will need to be able to converse effectively with their circle of influence – as the topic will come up. This is particularly true when approaching successful business people as they have often been approached with MLM deals and will mistakenly put Melaleuca into the same category.

Jeff does a clear job of laying out some of the unique and sometimes confusing aspects of the compensation plan and more importantly how each of us can maximize our efforts to benefit from the philosophy behind the compensation plan. He helps everyone to understand the advancement and mentoring bonuses and just how the leadership pools work. Jeff and some of his leaders share their first 12 months efforts and what this equated to in advancement and income. They also include some great “rules of thumb” for what it takes to get to the Senior and Executive Director levels. Great info!

How to Grow via Referrals

Jeff opened the call for all to share their personal success over the last few months. Leaders shared advancements in the last couple of months as well as the enrollments and growth since Convention. Wow! Jeff then went into the value of and how to use the new Product Reference Book. This resource is an amazing tool for coming up to speed on our top 22 products. Your confidence will soar in being able to speak to others about the science in our products.

Finally, there was a great discussion on what some of the most successful leaders in Melaleuca are doing to get quality referrals. Effective techniques were shared for getting names and phone numbers of exactly the kind of people you are looking for, as well as how to approach the people you have been referred to. Great info!!
