December Counts

Jeff reminds us how significant it is to stay focused right through December. There are a lot of people that have found themselves in unexpected positions due to this economy, and it is hitting home over this holiday season. Contrary to many companies in the recession, Melaleuca continues to grow steadily. We celebrated our first year of one billion dollars in annual sales just yesterday!!

Also be sure to attend your local January 7th Melaleuca launch event and make plans for the May Convention in Salt Lake City. These events bring the best of the best together and help educate us to enable us to have bullet proof posture.

Use the System

Jeff is joined by several of his team members to discuss the current system and the amazing results that are occurring within the entire team. Everyone speaks openly about how they are building, what is working and how each of us can duplicate their success. There are some very effective tools that have been made available to everyone to use. The track has been created and as was stated on the call, all we have to do is put our tennis shoes on and use the track. There is some very specific and great advice offered on this call.

Growing in a Recession

Why we are not MLM

Jeff does a great training on why we are not Multi Level Marketing (MLM) bringing some new insights and information into this discussion. He makes the point that this conversation needs to happen sooner than later with everyone that we partner up with to build a business. We need to educate and prepare our new people to effectively have this Melaleuca verses MLM discussion. They will need to be able to converse effectively with their circle of influence – as the topic will come up. This is particularly true when approaching successful business people as they have often been approached with MLM deals and will mistakenly put Melaleuca into the same category.

Finally, there was a great discussion on what some of the most successful leaders in Melaleuca are doing to get quality referrals. Effective techniques were shared for getting names and phone numbers of exactly the kind of people you are looking for, as well as how to approach the people you have been referred to. Great info!!

The focus here would be on the workout and nutrition product line and the amazing results people are getting. The next group was for single and young married couples that are on a tight budget. Good ideas for how to serve their needs best.

Finally, there are some great ideas for how to capitalize on the dollar enrollment for the last two days of the month.

Jeff walks through the entire presenation in just 45 minutes. Melaleuca vs. Multi-Level Marketing

To build a successful Melaleuca business, Jeff teaches that each team needs a system for consistent growth. As part of that system, Jeff and his team host a business luncheon every Monday. During the luncheon, Jeff gives an overview of Melaleuca's business model in comparison to MLM business models.
